Band

North Kitsap High School (NKHS) band program is a thriving musical community that values music as a crucial medium for learning, self-expression, and building community. This comprehensive program provides a variety of music courses, ensuring students with diverse musical interests and skill levels find a fitting avenue for their talents. Courses range from the Concert Band for beginners, through to the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble for intermediate and advanced musicians, respectively. The Percussion Ensemble focuses on rhythm instruments, the Orchestra combines string, wind, and percussion players, and the Jazz Ensemble caters to students passionate about jazz.

Central to the band program's success is the unwavering commitment of the North Kitsap Band Boosters. Operating throughout the year, this organization provides essential support in various ways, including conducting fundraisers, supplying meals during events, and facilitating the purchase of much-needed equipment. The Boosters ensure that all students have access to music, regardless of their financial background, by raising funds for instrument repair and acquisition. With the dedicated Band Instructor Bryce Adams at the helm, the NKHS band program is a nurturing space that fosters a culture of mutual respect, dignity, and support for all its students.
