The North Kitsap High School Athletic Medicine Program includes two Licensed Athletic Trainers (ATC) and approximately 65 Athletic Medicine Students completing their after-school internships. The North Kitsap Athle50c Medicine Program is under the supervision of Dr. Stacee Kessinger, MD, and Sports Medicine Orthopaedic Surgeon and a community advisory committee. Prevention of athletic injuries is the number one goal of the Athletic Medicine department, along with the care and rehabilitation. When injuries do occur, the Athletic Medicine staff provides the best in care and uses state-of-the-art equipment to return the student-athlete to 100 percent recovery.
