History & Social Science
To meet the graduation requirements at North Kitsap High School (NKHS), students need to earn three credits in History & Social Science. The school provides a flexible structure, allowing students to select from various courses depending on their grade level:
- Freshmen: AP-Prep History 9
- Sophomores: Modern World History or AP World History
- Juniors: US History or AP US History
- Seniors: Civics, AP Government and Politics course
Each course is designed to develop students' understanding and appreciation of history, and their successful completion contributes to the total of three History & Social Science credits required for graduation at NKHS.
