to Computer Science is for students with no prior programming
experience or for the student with no interest in taking the Advanced
Placement test in May.
For either student, a
large portion of your grade comes from the online curriculum completion
through codehs.com. Their curriculum materials lay an outstanding
foundation for both student tracks. I will enroll all students the
first week of class in the appropriate codehs materials. A switch can
be made if a student decides they would like to try for the AP test
instead of just the introductory course or vice versa.
Smaller portions of your grade come from in-class assessments, projects, and participation.
