Blue Angel Videos

Back in 2011, I was lucky enough to be selected as an educator V.I.P. by the U.S. Navy, and I was rewarded with a once-in-a-lifetime experience, a flight with the Blue Angels!  I saw how Naval Aviation uses a bunch of math to fly their high-performance jets.  It was so much fun, and I look forward to sharing some of that experience with you in class (with, of course, some cool math to go with it!)  Below are a short video clip and some pictures so you can see a little bit what it was like.

Here's a short clip of my flight, where you get to see a lot of the really neat maneuvers I experienced on my flight.  What questions come to mind as you watch?  (I bet there's a lot of math embedded in it!)
