Stephen Nolet

Since 2002, I have taught several classes at North Kitsap High School, including 9th grade World History, general and A.P.-prep levels; 10th grade Modern World History, general and honors levels; and 11th grade U.S. History.  In addition to teaching, I am the school's LEO Club adviser.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and my Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia.  In In 2010, I became a National Board Certified Teacher.  In 2011, I attended the Legislative Scholar Program at the State Capitol Campus in Olympia.  I have also completed two separate Advanced Placement Summer Institutes for teaching World History and one for U.S. History.

In addition to teaching, I am a Warrant Officer in the Washington Army National Guard, and have taught military history to Warrant Officer Candidates.

My wife and I moved to Washington from Virginia in 2001, and our children attend schools in the North Kitsap School District.
