Since 2002, I have taught several classes at North Kitsap
High School, including 9th grade World History, general and A.P.-prep
levels; 10th grade Modern World History, general and honors
levels; and 11th grade U.S. History. In addition to teaching, I am the
school's LEO Club adviser.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the
University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum
and Instruction from George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia. In
July 2011, I attended the Legislative Scholar Program at the State Capitol
Campus in Olympia. In 2010, I became a National Board Certified
Teacher. I have also completed two separate advanced placement summer
institutes for teaching world history.
My wife and I moved to Washington State from Virginia in 2001, and our children
attend schools in the North Kitsap School District.
I check my e-mail frequently and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
