Stephen Nolet

Since coming to NK in 2002, I have taught several classes, including 9th grade World History, general and A.P.-prep levels; 10th grade Modern World History, general and honors levels; 11th grade U.S. History, and 12th grade Civics.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and my Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University, which is located in Fairfax, Virginia.  I am a National Board Certified Teacher and have attended the Legislative Scholar Program at the State Capitol Campus in Olympia.  Since teaching at NK, I have completed Advanced Placement Summer Institutes for teaching World History and U.S. History.

In addition to teaching, I am a Chief Warrant Officer 3 in the Washington Army National Guard, and have taught military history to Warrant Officer Candidates.

My wife and I moved to North Kitsap from Virginia in 2001, and we live with our children -- and dog -- in Poulsbo.

I check my e-mail frequently and can be reached at
