Stephen Nolet

Since coming to NK in 2002, I have taught several classes, including 9th grade World History, general and A.P.-prep levels; 10th grade Modern World History, general and honors levels; and 11th grade U.S. History.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and my Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University, which is located in Fairfax, Virginia.  I'm a National Board Certified Teacher and have attended the Legislative Scholar Program at the State Capitol Campus in Olympia.  Since teaching at NK, I have completed Advanced Placement Summer Institutes for teaching World History and U.S. History.

In addition to teaching, I am a Warrant Officer in the Washington Army National Guard, and have taught military history to Warrant Officer Candidates.

My wife and I moved to Washington from Virginia in 2001, and our children attend schools in the North Kitsap School District.

I check my e-mail frequently and can be reached at snolet@nkschools.org.
