Athletic Medicine Advisory Committee
 
The Sports Medicine Advisory Committee shall advise the North Kitsap School District concerning sports medicine issues as they relate to injury prevention, injury recognition, injury rehabilitation and athletic performance in the athletic departments within the North Kitsap School District. Through this committee, the NKHS Athletic Medicine department will work to educate its administrators, coaches, and athletes concerning sports medicine issues that arise. The committee will proactively address health and safety issues of general concern to North Kitsap School District Athletics. In addition to the serving the NKSD Athletics, the Athletic Medicine program is advised by this committee to ensure that students enrolled in an Athletic Medicine class have the most current knowledge/curriculum, are meeting the newest industry standards and are learning the employability skills that will help them attain their goals in a particular field.
