We understand paying for post-secondary education can be expensive. Seeking out financial assistance is a key step in the college application process. There are many resources and information available to help you in this journey.

Summer prior to your senior year, and early in September,  research different scholarship opportunities and become familiar with sites such as:

attend NKHS Financial Aid evening

October 1, 2016 the FAFSA application opens. Filling out this application is free. You should fill this out and submit your FAFSA in fall of your senior year.

November of your senior year you should be checking out each colleges individual financial aid site for the schools in which you are applying to learn about any additional scholarships and required forms for that school.

Tip: Put together a calendar of due dates as each College, University and Scholarship has their own due date.

Seniors! Make sure you fill our and submit your FAFSA this fall

Undocumented students, you can fill out the WAFSA to be eligible for financial aid.

If you are looking at applying for schools outside of WA consider the WUE (Western Undergraduate Exchange) scholarship.
